computer browser service stops
Help with Internet Explorer and Comcast?

After stopping my service with comcast, my internet would not open even after connecting it to my own wireless network or ethernet cable. (Now I’m using Verizon) I’ve re-installed Internet Explorer, re-installed all of my wireless adapters, re-installed all other web browsers (Firefox, Netscape, etc.), updated everything in my computer, and rid of the comcast branding on my browsers by typing this in the run box: Rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear . Nothing works at all and my wireless connection shows I’m connected at 163mbps (using n-draft) but doesn’t allow me to use the internet. My computer is running Windows XP SP2 (Media Center Edition). Please help!! (Internet Explorer: 7, Firefox: 3)

YO MAN LOOKS LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE MULTIPLE ISSUES THERE

DID VERIZON SEND YOU ONE OF DEM MODEMS WHEN YOU SIGNED UP WIT THEM? YOU GOTTA MAKE SURE THAT’S CONFIGURED PROPERLY, USUALLY DEY SENDS A TECHNICIAN TO HELP YOU WIT THAT.
AND YOU MENTIONED N-DRAFT SO THAT MEANS YOU USIN’ 802.11N RIGHT? YOU GOTTA MAKE SURE YO WIRELESS ADAPTER CAN ACCEPT N SINCE IT GOT DIFFERENT SIGNALS

YOU CAN ALSO CHECK YO ROUTER SETTINGS BY LOGGING INTO IT, JUS TYPE 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 INTO YO BROWSER AND CHECK TO SEE IF YO ISP GIVEN YOU A DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) LEASE
