Need to buy a monitor for xbox 360 and computer?
I just have one question which is how much contrast ration you should have if u want to play xbox 360 games at HD and computer games properely. The monitor which i am looking at has the 1920×1080 resolution and also 2ms response time with HDMI input. All i want to know is how much contrast ration do i need like 20,000 or 10,000 or 50,0000. Thanks a lot.
The higher the ratio the higher the contrast, and higher contrast ratio will mean that the screen will tend to have deeper blacks and brighter whites.
but basically its a marketing scheme that doesn’t really mean anything other then price, besides this measurement will vary throughout the screen.
The problem with lcd monitors as opposed to plasma is they will never have TRUE black colors. It is always dark grey due to the backlight
